Essential Qualifications:
Head Mistress ->
(1) Second class Master degree (Post Graduate) of a recognized university or equivalent;
(2) First class Bachelor degree in teaching/education of a recognized university or equivalent;
(3) 10 years’ teaching experience in recognized secondary schools;
(4) Capacity for developing corporate life and maintaining discipline in secondary schools;
(5) familiarity with the latest developments in secondary education &
(6) Good power of expression in Bengali – spoken and written.

English Master and Mathematics Master ->
(1) Second class Master’s Degree or Honours Degree in English / Mathematics of an Indian University or equivalent;
(2) Degree in teaching or Education or equivalent (a candidate not possessing this qualification may apply but if selected shall have to acquire such qualifications within three years of joining the post and will draw on an ad-hoc basis the initial of the time-scale of pay till he/she qualifies himself/herself in this regard);
(3) Teaching experience in English medium in secondary schools, preferably residential ones, relaxable for otherwise well-qualified candidates &
(4) Ability to teach in English medium.

Application Fee: For all categories of post (except English Master post) ₹ 210/- only + Service Charge 1% of Examination Fee subject to a minimum of ₹ 5/- for online payment through debit/credit card plus 12.36% of service charge as Govt. Duty or Service Charge of ₹ 5/- only for Net Banking or Service Charge of ₹ 20/- only for payment through Bank Counter (off-line payment). S.C./ S.T. candidates of West Bengal and Persons with disabilities (P.W.D.) having physical disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee. BC candidates of West Bengal are, however, required to pay usual fee as aforesaid. No exemption of fee is available to s.c./s.t./b.c. Candidates of other states.
